Registration & Verification Form
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental and use of two-wheelers provided by Goalpara Premier Scooty Rental, operated under the MoonMoon Group (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By booking, accepting, taking possession of, or operating a rental vehicle, the customer (“Renter”, “Hirer”, or “you”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms.
To rent and operate a vehicle from Goalpara Premier Scooty Rental, the Renter must satisfy all applicable eligibility and verification requirements.
The Renter must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking and vehicle handover.
The Renter must possess and present a valid original Indian Driving Licence authorizing them to operate the rented two-wheeler.
The licence must be valid on the rental date.
The licence must be appropriate for the type of vehicle being rented.
Learner’s Licences will not be accepted.
A photocopy, screenshot, expired licence, or other document that does not legally authorize the Renter to operate the vehicle may be rejected.
The Renter must provide a valid government-issued photo identity document, such as:
Aadhaar Card
Voter ID
Passport
Any other government-issued identification accepted by the Company
Additional documentation may be requested where reasonably required for verification or compliance.
Completion of the Company's Customer Registration & Verification Form is mandatory before vehicle handover.
The Company may refuse or postpone vehicle delivery if the submitted information or documents cannot be satisfactorily verified.
Rental charges may be calculated on an:
Hourly basis
Daily basis (24-hour rental cycle)
Weekly basis
Monthly basis
The applicable rental rate, rental period, deposit, and other charges will be communicated or agreed at the time of booking.
A refundable security deposit is required before vehicle handover.
The security deposit may be used to recover, where applicable:
Vehicle damage
Missing or damaged accessories
Fuel shortages
Traffic fines or challans
Parking penalties
Tolls or other outstanding dues
Late-return charges
Other amounts payable by the Renter under these Terms
Subject to clearance of all outstanding liabilities, the remaining refundable amount will be returned through the original payment method or UPI, as applicable.
A 30-minute grace period is permitted after the agreed return time.
Without prior authorization from the Company:
More than 30 minutes and up to 3 hours: ₹100 per additional hour
After 3 hours: one full day's rental charge may become payable.
The Company may require the vehicle to be returned immediately where the rental period has expired.
Any extension must be approved by the Company before the original return time.
Continued possession or use of the vehicle without authorization may be treated as an unauthorized extension and may result in additional charges and/or termination of the rental agreement.
The vehicle will be handed over with a recorded fuel level.
The Renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as recorded at handover.
If the vehicle is returned with insufficient fuel, the Company may recover the applicable refueling cost and reasonable service/handling charges from the security deposit.
Vehicles are generally permitted to operate within Goalpara district and other routes specifically authorized by the Company within Assam.
Travel outside the permitted operating area, including inter-state travel, requires prior approval from the Company.
Only the Renter whose name appears on the rental agreement/booking is authorized to operate the vehicle.
The Renter must not:
Lend the vehicle to another person
Sub-rent the vehicle
Transfer possession or control of the vehicle
Permit an unauthorized person to ride or operate the vehicle
Any unauthorized use may result in immediate termination of the rental.
The vehicle must not be used for:
Riding under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, drugs, or intoxicating substances
Triple riding or carrying more persons than legally/manufacturer permitted
Racing, speed contests, or competitive riding
Stunts, dangerous riding, or reckless driving
Off-road use where the vehicle is not designed or authorized for such use
Towing or pushing another vehicle
Transporting commercial goods without authorization
Any unlawful, fraudulent, or criminal activity
Transporting contraband, prohibited, or hazardous materials
Any activity that violates applicable Indian laws or traffic regulations
The Renter must operate the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act, applicable traffic rules, and other applicable laws.
Yes. I would add this as a dedicated section, but I’d avoid stating that a white plate automatically makes the rental legal as a private rental—the registration category and permitted use should match the vehicle’s actual legal registration and applicable rules.
Here is professional wording you can insert:
The Renter acknowledges that the particular two-wheeler provided under this rental may bear a white registration number plate, indicating its registered private/personal vehicle category.
The Renter understands that the vehicle must be used strictly in accordance with its registered category, applicable registration conditions, insurance requirements, and Indian motor-vehicle laws. The Renter must not use the vehicle for any purpose that is prohibited under applicable law or the vehicle's registration conditions.
The Renter assumes responsibility for the particular two-wheeler from the exact time of pickup/handover until the vehicle is returned and formally accepted by Goalpara Premier Scooty Rental at the agreed drop-off time/location.
During this period, the Renter is responsible for the vehicle and for all matters arising from their possession, custody, or use of the vehicle, including, where applicable:
Traffic violations, challans, parking fines, and penalties
Fuel and toll charges
Unauthorized use or operation
Damage caused through negligence, misuse, accident, or violation of these Terms
Loss of or damage to keys, helmets, documents, or other supplied accessories
Any unauthorized extension beyond the agreed return time
Any loss, damage, or liability resulting from allowing another person to operate the vehicle
Compliance with all applicable traffic and road-safety laws
Important: Responsibility for the vehicle begins at the recorded pickup/handover date and time and continues until the vehicle has been returned, inspected, and accepted by the Company. Simply leaving the vehicle at a location without confirmation from the Company does not automatically constitute completion of the rental or transfer of responsibility.
The Renter must therefore ensure that the vehicle is securely parked and protected until the Company has formally taken back possession.
The Company may record the following at pickup and return:
Vehicle registration number
Pickup date and time
Return date and time
Odometer reading
Fuel level
Vehicle condition
Helmet/accessory count
Photographs/videos of the vehicle condition
These records may be used to determine the Renter's responsibility during the rental period and to resolve any subsequent dispute regarding the vehicle's condition, usage, or return.
One important correction: your original wording says a black number plate is used for commercial/self-drive rental vehicles. I would not put that categorical statement into the terms without verifying the specific vehicle's registration and current Indian/Assam transport rules. The safer contract language is the version above, which makes the actual registration category and legal permitted use controlling.
The Renter and pillion passenger must wear helmets meeting applicable legal safety requirements.
The Company will provide one standard helmet with the rental vehicle. An additional helmet may be provided upon request, subject to availability and applicable charges, if any.
The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all riders comply with applicable helmet laws.
The Renter is solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws and regulations during the rental period.
The Renter is financially responsible for all fines, challans, parking penalties, toll-related dues, speeding violations, and other penalties arising from the Renter's use or possession of the vehicle during the rental period.
Where an electronic challan or other penalty is received after the rental period but relates to the Renter's rental period, the Company may recover the applicable amount from the Renter.
Before accepting the vehicle, the Renter should inspect its general condition, including:
Body panels and exterior condition
Existing scratches or dents
Tyres
Brakes
Headlights and indicators
Mirrors
Horn
Odometer
Fuel level
Other visible equipment and accessories
The Renter must report any pre-existing damage or defect before accepting the vehicle.
Once the Renter accepts the vehicle and signs/acknowledges the handover record, the vehicle will be considered accepted in the condition documented at handover, subject to defects that could not reasonably have been identified during inspection.
The Renter is responsible for damage caused during the rental period due to negligence, misuse, unauthorized use, violation of these Terms, or failure to operate the vehicle responsibly.
Repair costs may be assessed based on quotations, invoices, or assessment from an appropriate/authorized service or repair facility.
If the vehicle develops a mechanical or operational problem, the Renter must immediately contact Goalpara Premier Scooty Rental at:
Helpline: +91 9706906190
The Renter must not authorize major repairs or dismantling of the vehicle without prior approval from the Company, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.
In the event of an accident:
Immediately ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Contact Goalpara Premier Scooty Rental at +91 9706906190 as soon as reasonably possible.
Contact the police/emergency services where required, particularly in cases involving injury, significant property damage, or other circumstances requiring police intervention.
Obtain relevant details of third parties and witnesses where reasonably possible.
Do not abandon the vehicle without authorization, except where necessary for personal safety.
Do not admit liability or make settlement arrangements on behalf of the Company without authorization.
Cooperate with the Company, police, insurer, and other authorized parties in any investigation or claim.
Failure to report an accident promptly may affect the Company's ability to process an insurance claim and may increase the Renter's financial liability where permitted by law.
In the event of theft, disappearance, or total loss of the vehicle, the Renter must immediately notify the Company and the police and fully cooperate with the investigation.
Where loss or damage results from negligence, unauthorized use, failure to secure the vehicle, leaving keys accessible/in the ignition, or other breach of these Terms, the Renter may be responsible for losses not covered by insurance, including applicable insurance deductibles, subject to the terms of the applicable insurance policy and law.
For booking, identity verification, rental administration, safety, legal compliance, and record-keeping purposes, the Company may collect information through its physical documentation and Online Registration & Verification Form.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company will not be responsible for loss of or damage to the Renter's personal belongings left in or around the vehicle.
The Renter remains responsible for operating the vehicle safely and legally throughout the rental period.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
